Dear Miss Konkona Sen May. 14th, 2007 @ 11:38 pm

I saw you today - my lifelong dream has been fulfilled....if only you could have noticed me a little more - I know you definitely saw me as I tried to act all 'radio smart' with the friend who was standing next to you na...

anyway - I was dying to click a photo of you, or even ask if I could have a photo taken with you...but I know how much that probably 'irritates' you...everywhere and everytime - (those media peoples were acting so nosy) so I decided to be your 'biggest fan' in my own way...I didnt click a single photo nor butt in with a few words, and sound like a creep of sorts

But I wont lie - I stood behind and almost melted.....I cudnt believe it was true - I'm not the kinda fan who watched all your movies and stuff but I just think you're a darling! I'd probably do anything for you - even though you're not 'mine'.
I do hope we meet again.

(a kid who will attend every art protest to be held from now to eternity)

the Chase Mar. 16th, 2007 @ 09:58 am
You can only chase whats running away from you.

Why would you desire something you already have - something thats already there and wont go away.
Things that you have you feel the need to get rid off.

Things heading in your direction we accept as destiny
but the chase can only exist when somethings running away

and maybe its not even something we need or want,
it's just something we want to chase - the illusion

No sinner or saint - its all.....only human tendency

L: have you tried using a bucket?

Bjork on the song Hyperballad (and 'louv') Mar. 6th, 2007 @ 10:00 pm
"It was inspired by a situation I saw a lot of my friends get in to. I really like reading magazines about science, you see, and when people fall in love, they make this kind of drug in their bodies so they become addicted to each other physically.

Nature makes things so that the drug lasts for three years, so if they're together they're just on a natural high. Nature makes sure that people get three years to sort out if they want to be together for life or not; that three years is a try out time. Then they wake up and it's a 'Whoops, what am I doing here?' kind of thing? Then they are forced to sort out if they love the person, like real love, or if it was just a trick.

I just read this article and I looked at all my friends since I was a kid, and I saw that it always happened after three years, it's so strange. You think you've never seen people so much in love and then after three years, like precisely, they ring the phone in the middle of the night and it's , 'Björk, I'm coming over' and they come over and say 'I don't love him, what is it? I don't look forward to coming home anymore. What's wrong?' Then at that point I could actually say, 'Well listen, it's science."

MUSIC

currently been tripping on Imogen Heap - now added to my Wall of God's

with lyrics like -
"W'ere kissing without kissing
we got down to a fine art
Love is supposed to keep you young and frisky
we grew old and far apart"

(wish I could write like this)

I've always known now matter which friend betrayed me or which girlfriend left me or no matter how bad a day I've had I'll always have music -
it keeps me safe when I am scared, floats me when I am down.
» to the pessimists and the cowards
My little difference, IS a difference.
» Foodie on TimesNOW
I'm thinking of changing TimesNow as my default 'switch on' channel after todays 'Foodie' program also was part of his Nawabi hosts kids circumcision celebration ceremony!
No offense to the tradition but something about that in the program left a 'bad taste'...

I know! ewww! bad joke :)
» "Ek commited relationship please"
"Sorry madam - out of stock"

"maalom nahi phir sey stock kabhi aayega"
» To...
the 2 hottest women at Hawaiin Shack last night...
thank you :)

Just realised the term is making friends - they dont just turn out to be friends or are destined to be part of your life,
they are just regular human beings living their lives - you have to make them friends.

Also watched

Very very exciting movie - and has this cool matrix like fundu concept in it....
will watch again - friends anyone?
» Walk on
And I know it aches and your heart it breaks you can only take so much,
Walk on
leave it behind, you got to leave it behind

All that you fashion, all that you make,
all that you build, all that you break,
all that you imagine, all that you feel,
all this you cant leave behind....

I guess its pointless if I'm listening to this song on loop almost 35x a day - defeats the 'point' of the song.

» Entrepreneurs extrodinaire 1 - Techno Rick
Was walking along Bandstand - my usual evening healing walks and I spotted this -

This 'manual' rickshaw actually had an LCD screen at the back with hindi videos playing - not to mention the flashy lights all over the place.

This is why I am here - what a 'dude' rickshaw man - kya 'Entrepreneur' - hope he does well.
I only forgot to ask how much for a ride....

Also nearly got a heart attack while actually paying attention to the lyrics of a song by David Gray ('My oh my') - helps knowing I'm not the only one going through, Could'nt help but put it on loop all evening.
» Republic Day + Blood Diamond
Caught this at Bandra station - these kids pinning any1 walking up the bridge and saying "joh bhi chahiyea de do" (give as you please).

I was really impressed by his entrepreneurial spirit so I gave him 5 bucks even though the flag was worth just 50p - coolest thing was his "thank you"!

Watched.......

Loved it! Brilliantly made film - and on a very good 'cause', thanks to the movie I am a little more 'aware' than I was before it.
Will watch it again.

Loved the part in which Solomon Vandy (the black dude) screams at Danny Archer (Di Caprio)
"He is my son, I should have protected him....I am going....
you can shoot me it does'nt matter, I'm dead anyway"

Also Jennifer Connelly is now added to my list of 'dream dates' - gawd! totally my kinda lady!
(Mr. UpAbove...are you listening?)

is Interestingly...
a string to tragedies to start off with.

I believe that miracles and angels are not of the BC generation - they still exist..... depends on how far you're going to go- believing or waiting for one.

So when the light at the end of the tunnel disappears - just stick to your guns, coz miracles do happen!
» Things...will never be the same again.

And thats the AWESOMEST part about life!

» Gandhi-giri VS Bhai-giri

Watched Munna Bhai 2 yesterday - sheer classic! 11 out of 10 from me.
Its hilliarious and is even better than MMBS....

I'm amazed by the storyline of the movie - I cant hep but feeling the director is trying to change a few hearts here, and hes done it in such a convincing and non pakaoing way!
Importantly the entire story has soo much reality to it - so often it had me stumped with some of the dialogues - I havent heard 'gyan thunder' like that in real life, forget in a hindi movie!

Its definitely worth the watch! Pakka hit hai mammu!
